Hawaiian Coffee Co.
Hawaii Coffee Company is
the result of a merger between Lion Coffee and Royal Kona Coffee.
Founded in Ohio in 1864, Lion Coffee was at one time in the 1890s
considered to be one of the largest coffee companies in the world.
After a long decline in business, the company relocated to Hawaii in
1979. Lion's partner, Royal Kona, uses Kona coffee beans purchased
exclusively on the Hawaiian Islands.
